Scholarships and Bursaries
For many students, the financial challenge is the greatest barrier to college success. Many students work part-time or full-time while completing their studies. An increasing number have responsibility for one or more dependents.
Niagara College has established endowed funds, in which the principal remains untouched, and the interest earned is used to fund annual bursaries and scholarships. The goal for the Building Futures Campaign includes $2 million to help build the College's endowment fund for scholarships and bursaries. [

Applied Research Projects
Students at Niagara College are invited to participate in applied research projects to help local businesses and community organizations become more innovative, solve problems, and develop
new products and processes. Students have the opportunity to work on real world projects in research teams with faculty, other students and local business owners. [
